Arizona Diamondbacks @ San Francisco Giants (game 2)

This was the final game of the series, and as often happens for getaway days for the visiting team, the game is early in the day, today's game starting at 12.45pm.

The leadoff home run my Perdomo as the first batter in the first inning put Arizona ahead for good.  They managed to get 5 runs in total, and although San Francisco managed to claw three back eventually, they weren't able to get enough runs scored to tie the game up, which was disappointed.

Since this was in the middle of the day, it took up the whole day for me.

In the evening, I found a small restaurant nearby to my hotel which was OK, although when it came to potentially choosing a dessert, I was informed that the kitchen had already shut so there wouldn't be any!

There wasn't even any warning or an opportunity to pre-order something, which was a shame.

Back at my hotel, I discovered that there is a little slot under the window which you can pull open to air the room, and this doesn't close quite properly - that's why the sound-proofing isn't as good as it could be.
